Rules and betting terminology 90 minutes play All match odds are based on the result at the end of a scheduled '90 minutes' play, unless otherwise stated. Wagers are settled on the score standing at the end of the scheduled '90 minutes' including any added injury or stoppage time. This scheduled period does not include extra time, time allocated for a penalty shoot out or golden goal. All odds are subject to fluctuation and amendment and are based on the result at full-time. The terms 'full-time', '90 minutes play' and 'normal time' are all used to denote the period of play which includes time added by match officials for stoppages, but not scheduled extra time, penalty shoot-outs etc. Settlement will be at the price prevailing at the time the wager was placed and confirmed. Asian handicap Asian Handicaps are a growingly popular type of betting opportunity offered on football matches. As well as the normal 90-minute prices on a game, an Asian Handicap is created which gives a roughly equal chance to both teams. This allows for a very competitive market to be offered for the customer, even if in the game itself one side is a very strong favourite. Asian Handicaps may appear complicated at first, but they are actually very easy to understand and can offer a more interesting opportunity to the football fan. Example to handicap 0.5: Man Utd (-0.5) v Arsenal (0.5) The figure in brackets is the handicap and the number by the team is the decimal price on offer. This means Man Utd are an imaginary half a goal behind at the start of the match. If you bet on Man Utd, they have to win the match. If you bet on Arsenal, you win if Arsenal win, or if the match is a draw. If the handicap is a whole number - e.g.: Man Utd (- 1 ) v Arsenal (1) - it means that Man UTD started the match short of 1 goal, and if you back them they need to win by 2 goals or more. If the score is 1:0 for Man UTD - the bet is void. Totals over under A total line is offered on the predicted total number of points scored. Prices are offered for the actual number of points to be over or under this quote. The total result is the combined total points for both teams at the end of the relevant period of play. The total points scored include points scored in overtime for all US sports. US sports are defined as American football, basketball, baseball and ice hockey. For other sports, refer to our rules section pertaining to that particular sport. All total wagers on US sports include all overtime scoring with the lone exception being 4th quarter wagers When the combined scores of both teams equals the totals line exactly then the result is a 'push'. For example, if the total is 32 and you believe that the combined points scored by the two teams will exceed that number, you would wager over 32. If the total end up being exactly 32, the result is a push or tie. That means that you don't win or lose your original wager is refunded. Total Odds or Even - A prediction of whether the total number of accumulated goals in a match will add up to an odd or even number. E.g. a 2-1 result = 3 goals and therefore bets on Odd will be deemed a winner. A 0-0 result will be deemed an Even number of goals. Payouts Each coupon has a pre defined payout (e.g.: 20 to 1 means that for each pound you stake you'll get 20 pound in return) If one of the matches is abandoned or postponed and not replayed within 1 day, payouts will be reduced by 50% accordingly (e.g. from 20 to 10). In the unlikely event that more than one match in the same coupon will be abandoned or postponed and not replayed within 1 day, payouts will be reduced by 50% for each match accordingly. |
